Muscat Airport (MCT) Car Hire

Minimum age to rent- 23 to 29 years old for car groups Economy to Compact, Intermediate-Midsize and 30 years old for Standard and above. No young driver fee applies. Maximum Age to rent- 70 years old

Cross Border Policy- Customers are only allowed to drive into the UAE and will need to send an email notice along with copies of their Driving license and passport with stamped visa -for non GCC nationals- 48 hours prior to the rental date. Customers will then collect a Border Crossing Permit from our car rental counter at the time of rental pickup. Cross Border permit charges range from 25.00 OMR up to 7 days rental and 35.00 OMR for rentals in excess of 7 days. This fee also includes comprehensive UAE insurance coverage.

Η Κανονική απαλλαγή ευθύνης για ζημιά παρέχει κάλυψη του ποσού υπέρβασης για ζημιές στο αμάξωμα του ενοικιαζόμενου οχήματος ή/και κλοπή. Δεν καλύπτει ζημιές στα ελαστικά κατά τη διάρκεια της ενοικίασης. Αν δεν περιλαμβάνεται στην κράτησή σας, ισχύει ημερήσιο τέλος για τη CDW το οποίο είναι ανάλογο της κατηγορίας του ενοικιαζόμενου αυτοκινήτου. Αν η CDW συμπεριλαμβάνεται ή έχει αγοραστεί, ο ενοικιαστής θα είναι υπεύθυνος για το ποσό υπέρβασης/το ποσό απαλλαγής 150,00 OMR σε περιπτώσεις που προκαλείται ζημιά στο ενοικιαζόμενο όχημα. Για όλες τις αξιώσεις ασφάλισης απαιτείται αστυνομική αναφορά. Αν δεν υπάρχει αστυνομική αναφορά, ο ενοικιαστής είναι υπεύθυνος για ολόκληρο το κόστος επισκευής της ζημιάς.

Damage Waiver does not cover damage caused by the use of the wrong fuel or any failure to take all reasonable measures to look after the vehicle keys or any other device which unlocks the vehicle and/or enables the vehicle to be started. Damage Waiver will be voided if damage is caused by: failure to secure the vehicle keys and failure to lock the vehicle, unauthorized repairs on the vehicle, failure to stop using the vehicle once a fault becomes known, use by an unauthorized driver, use by an unlicensed driver, use for hire and reward, use of vehicle for any illegal purpose or deliberately causing injury or damage to property, racing, pace making, or teaching someone to drive, use whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs, use of the vehicle outside of the Sultanate of Oman without our written permission, overloaded with more passengers than seatbelts, towing, use off road, transporting dangerous or noxious substances or use of vehicle in a reckless manner.

If the car is collected at one location and then dropped off at a different location a one-way fee to cover the cost of returning the car to the original location will apply. 72 hours prior notification is required for all one-way rentals. Should the rental vehicle be dropped off at a location other than the one originally agreed without notification; the customer will incur a penalty fee of 100.00 OMR.

When you pick your car up, the fuel tank will be full or partly full. The customer is expected to replace the fuel you’ve used or a refuelling service fee will be charged. The service fee is 2.00 OMR plus the cost of the missing fuel based on market rates, approximately 0.220 Baisa per liter, but please note that market rates can fluctuate.

Total rental cost for inclusive rate products will include CDW Collision Damage Waiver and TP Theft Protection. All vehicles will have limited mileage. This will vary depending on the car class selected and length of rental.

Acceptable Methods of Payment- Credit Cards accepted are American Express, Visa, and MasterCard. Approved Vouchers and Cash when supported with a valid credit card are accepted. Security Deposits- Rental deposit which is held on the customer's credit card will consist of the cost of the rental, fuel and damage waiver excess which amounts to 150.00 OMR for all car groups.

Basic roadside assistance is provided by AAA free of charge. This service includes tow up to 100 kilometers to the nearest service facility. Battery charge, flat tire replacement, fuel delivery, door unlocking service and minor roadside repairs. Service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week and the AAA Emergency number is 968 93877124.

Renter Requirements- Drivers license must have been held for at least one year. Holders of an International Driving License are required to also show their Passport at the time of rental as an additional form of identification.

Upon entering the Arrival's Hall, walk to your right for approximately 20 meters. You will see all the Car Rental Desk in front of you. Enterprise Rent a Car is the first desk. Our colleagues at the Enterprise desk will assist you with your reservation.
