The minimum age requirement to rent all vehicles is 25. The maximum age to rent is 70. Renters between the age of 23 and 24 may rent the categories Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate, Standard, Full Size, Premium, Luxury, Full-size, Pickup, Economy Crossover, Economy SUV, Compact SUV 4x4, Compact SUV, Intermediate SUV, Standard SUV, Standard 4x4 SUV, Full Size SUV, Minivan, Midsize Van, Standard Van, Full Size Van, Premium Van, Premium SUV, Luxury SUV, Midsize Pickup. A young driver fee of 12.00 USD per day applies to all renters between the age of 23 and 24. Local taxes and surcharges may apply.

All one way rentals must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. One way charges apply and are payable at time of rental. One way charges cannot be prepaid.

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel. Option 1 - Prepay Fuel This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of gas at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused gas. Option 2 - We Refill This option allows the renter to pay at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 50% surcharges will apply. Option 3 - You refill This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.

National Protection Package (NPP) is a package product which includes Collision Damage Waiver - Theft Protection (CDW-TP), Tire and Windshield Protection (TWP), Third Party Liability (TPL) and Deductible Protection (DP) at a discounted price. NPP is not insurance. If you purchase NPP, the rental company contractually waives your responsibility for the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle (including tires and windshield), and up to the policy limits for damages and injuries to third parties during the rental period in Panama subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate the coverage as described in the rental agreement. No Deductible applies for CDW-TP, TWP and TPL. A deductible of up to $3,500 USD will apply in the event of partial or total theft of the vehicle, depending on car class. A police report is required to action this coverage (transit and police authorities accordingly.

Personal Accident Coverage (PAI). The purchase of personal accident coverage is optional and is not required in order to rent a vehicle. Personal Accident Insurance covers ambulance service, doctors, hospitalization and nurses for each passenger in the vehicle, with a maximum limit maximum limit of $5,000 for the driver and $3,000 for each passenger. Also includes a life insurance of $50,000 for the driver and $25,000 for the passengers

A passport in addition to a credit card, with available credit and in the renter's name, must be presented. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. Credit Cards honored: American Express®, MasterCard®, VISA®, An authorization on the credit card of 30% or a minimum charge of $300 will apply for Economy to Compact and a minimum of $500 for Midsize and above will be authorized on credit card upon rental of vehicle of the rental charges plus the cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. This authorization amount may be toed toward damages of vehicles or late charges. Debit/check cards are considered to be any non-credit card American Express®, MasterCard®, VISA® logo. Debit/Check cards are not accepted at this location. Cash is not accepted at this location

Roadside Assistance Protection (RAP) If selected and paid for at the time of rental, Roadside Assistance is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without additional charges. RAP includes towing (not related to an accident, flat tire service (if no inflated spare is available, vehicle will be towed), and lockout service (if keys are locked inside the vehicle). Jumpstarts and fuel delivery service for up to 5 gallons (or equivalent liters) of fuel is also provided. Tire damage beyond repair as a result of driver neglect is the responsibility of the renter.

Must meet the location's minimum age requirements. Present a valid driver's license. Present a major credit card in renter's name at the time of rental. This location accepts notarized Chinese Drivers License. International drivers must provide a valid license from their country of residence. In addition to the drivers license, if the characters are not in English or Latin characters, an international drivers permit is recommended. If the drivers license is in characters other than Latin, an International permit is required or a Notarized English Translation is accepted.

From the baggage claim area go through customs. Exit the airport building. You will find the car rental area. On the right will be the National counter. Please proceed to the National counter to obtain your rental agreement and vehicle keys.

Third Party Liability (TPL) - In Panama, the purchase of TPL is required by the rental company unless you purchase the National Protection Package (NPP), which includes TPL. Customers can obtain coverage for damages and injuries to third parties, up to the policy limits, under the local rental car company's insurance by purchasing its TPL protection unless you invalidate the coverage as provided in the rental agreement. Liability insurance purchased on third party travel websites and insurance that accompanies US credit or debit cards may not provide coverage in Panama. A police report is required to action this coverage.

Tire and Windshield Protection (TWP) - Tire Windshield Protection waives customer's liability in the event of damage to tires, rims, windshield and side glass.
